Seibido Pearls — Specialty Black Pearls
We stock black pearls, placing importance on their streak and luster. Among black pearls, Tahitian pearls — which have the ideal streak and luster — show us a luster known as “peacock color.” At Seibido Pearls, we go out to Tahiti and check the pearls with our own eyes, bringing in carefully-selected pearls and delivering them to our customers.
Snow White Pearl
Snow white pearls are extremely rare pearls that have been carefully selected from only the highest quality beads, only very few of which can be retrieved even among Akoya pearls. As the beads themselves are of extraordinary quality, snow white pearls do not require toning which is done in the normal process of pearl finishing and they have a beautiful, transparent finish. In the so-called “cosmetic streak” in which Akoya pearl oysters form pearl layers prior to hibernating, fine-grained pearl layers flurry about and accumulate like powdered snow. This visual image inspired the name “snow white pearl.” These Snow White Pearls allow you to enjoy of diversity of expression such as, for example, exuding a beautiful luster as the transparency of the pearls blends in with your neckline when wearing them on bare skin, emitting a red-tinged radiance when wearing a black dress, or evoking a mystical green color that makes you feel a deep sense of composure with a white dress.
Natural Blue Pearls
These are natural blue pearls produced by Akoya pearls that have not undergone any toning by human hands whatsoever. It is a challenge to gather beads for rare natural blue pearl necklaces since the hue of the beads cannot be controlled by toning. As a result, each and every finished necklace has its own distinct characteristics. We also take orders for earrings or piercings in addition to single necklaces.
